Following initial orientation, the Material Handler 1 will be trained to perform one or more of the following tasks: parts put\-away, parts picking, parts replenishment. Material handler job duties include: MRP materials transactions (including data entry timeliness and accuracy), inventory counting and verification, and support of daily manufacturing needs throughout the warehouse. **Roles \& Responsibilities:** * Handle, verify, move, and transact materials in a prompt, efficient, accurate manner * Process materials and verify correct part number(s), quantity, and lot/serial number verification (including labeling and certifications) * Follow First In First Out (FIFO) when putting away, picking and replenishment material * Pull, stage and issue materials for work orders and fill shortages * Follows specified routes on manufacturing floor to replenish material * Utilize operations software to record data transactions (receipts, transfers, shipments) * Maintain warehouse safety and housekeeping in accordance with 5S principles * Operates material handling (forklift and pallet jack) equipment per safety policy * Identify and communicate issues that disrupt operating supplies and/or material movement that can become an issue for the whole operation in Mexicali * Comply with material management policies and procedures * Comply with employee training requirements record requirements ### **Qualifications** **Skills, Experience, Education, \& Training:** * High school * Warehouse or material handling and inventory control basic knowledge * Prior experience and/or certification in operating material handling equipment a plus * Able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments * Computer experience including MS Office products and ERP systems (SAP) is a plus * Ability to lift heavy material and or equipment frequently each day * Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting) is required * Verbal and written communication skills ### **Additional Information** Intuitive is an equal opportunity employer.
