Import Documentation Specialist Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and Customs, International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields Position Objective Track the import process of goods through Mexican ports in coordination with the Customs Agency, verifying that the documentation required for customs clearance complies with validity, accuracy, and applicable regulations to ensure compliance with customs authorities. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and manage documentation required for proforma customs declaration requests and transportation scheduling. • Coordinate cargo conditioning services to comply with Mexican Official Standards (NOMs). • Manage automatic permits and guarantee certificates required for importation. • Maintain control and update internal operational reports. • Follow up on pre-approvals, reworks, and validations submitted by suppliers. • Enter customs declarations to enable inventory receipt at the receiving CEDIS warehouse. • Support post-import adjustments and procedures. • Validate operational expenses and ensure correct invoicing by service providers. • Manage regularization processes for surplus goods. • Monitor Customs Agencies’ logs and generate incident reports.
