Ensure timely delivery to distribution centers Location: Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Job Description: We are looking for an Import/Export Logistics Analyst to manage and monitor international shipments (ocean, air, and ground), ensuring on-time delivery of goods from origin to distribution centers in alignment with business needs. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and confirm bookings with carriers and freight forwarders • Track shipments from origin to final destination • Monitor container departures and transit times • Resolve issues with suppliers and logistics providers • Coordinate with customs brokers for documentation and clearance • Ensure timely delivery to distribution centers (CEDIS) • Validate freight rates and request market quotes when needed • Maintain constant communication with internal teams and external partners Key Performance Indicators: • On-time departures from origin ports • Use of negotiated freight rates • Transport availability at destination port • On-time document revalidation Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field Experience: • At least 1 year in import logistics, supply chain, or related roles • Experience in shipment tracking and coordination with logistics providers Knowledge: • Import documentation • Incoterms • International transportation processes • Basic tax concepts Language: • English level B2 or C1 required, as the role involves communication with vendors from the United States, Germany, and China.
