This role owns end-to-end vehicle network design, ensuring scalability, compliance with functional safety regulations, and robustness in cybersecurity. The supervisor leads and mentors engineers, manages network interfaces, oversees multifunctional and supplier interactions, and promotes consistent, high-quality engineering solutions throughout the vehicle lifecycle. * **Knowledge and Experience.** * Professional degree (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field). * Relevant certifications in engineering, functional safety, systems engineering, or related disciplines (preferred). * Training or certification in Six Sigma / DFSS (preferred). * More than 6 years of experience in prior roles. * English language proficiency: 90%. * Strong knowledge of SAE J1939 CAN and CAN-FD communication protocols, including PGN/SPN structures, address allocation, diagnostics, and transport protocols. * Experience supporting functional safety design per ISO 26262\. * Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts per ISO 21434\. * Ability to manage moderately complex and partially defined engineering problems with limited technical guidance. * Experience leading or supporting product launches, integration testing, and field problem resolution. * Demonstrated leadership in project management and execution, including prioritization and delegation. * Clear communication skills appropriate for the audience. * Knowledge of the automotive, heavy-duty transportation, or similar industry. * **Competencies.** Technical: Product knowledge, development of electrical/electronic architectures, knowledge of automotive communication protocols (SAE J1939 and CAN-FD), interpretation of schematics, corporate standards, and vehicle/component testing, administration (planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring), performance indicator measurement, knowledge of ISO procedures, personnel supervision, project management, analytical capability, process tracking and control, multitasking ability, negotiation, problem solving, effective presentations.
