Description

Position Summary: Responsible for loading and unloading material bills and customs entry documents in Annex 24, preparing reports, ensuring customs regulatory compliance, and supporting audits. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive management of customs and traffic operations. 2. Compliance with regulations such as AEO and CTPAT. 3. Participation in logistics and customs projects. Description and details of responsibilities * Responsible for the daily loading of material bills in our Annex 24, as well as validation of components, quantities, and units of measure. * Preparation and review of INEGI and subcontracting reports. * Responsible for compliance with Authorized Economic Operator (NEEC) program regulations as well as CTPAT, including auditing each process. * Support for internal and external audits of the Traffic and Customs Department. * Reconciliation, identification, and location of the company’s fixed assets (machinery and equipment). * Responsible for the daily unloading of customs entry documents in Annex 24, as well as their review and analysis. * Participation in traffic and customs projects, as well as logistics initiatives. * Verifies the correct tariff classification provided by the customs broker based on the function and use of each material or component, as well as machinery and equipment. * Review and validation of the origin of goods and finished products. * Review and approval of freight company invoices as well as customs broker invoices. * Identifies and reports to the Traffic and Customs Manager or managerial staff any potential violations of customs compliance, as well as incidents occurring within the supply chain. * Supports import and export operations for special requirements. * Other duties assigned by the Traffic, Customs, and Warehouse Manager. Experience and Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and Customs, Business Administration. * 5 years of experience in IMMEX companies. * Knowledge of managing and controlling the Customs Compliance Department. * Experience in CTPAT audits. * Conversational English. * Organized. * Proactive. * Strong ethical awareness.
