Position Summary: This position supervises production department activities, leads production lines, ensures compliance with the quality system, and manages employee attendance tracking and training. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in directing production department activities. 2. Supervise compliance with product and quality procedures. 3. Lead production lines and assist with setup and sanitation. **Job Description** Assist in directing production department activities during your assigned shift. Work daily as a line leader and assist with setup and sanitation processes. \- Supervise employees by prioritizing tasks to adhere to the schedule. Maintain a basic understanding of all processes and equipment, troubleshoot issues, report any equipment or process problems, and alert the maintenance team to provide assistance with equipment issues. \- Ensure compliance with products and procedures under the Quality System and assist the Quality Technician in supervising filling operations to deliver a quality product. \- Supervise and track employee attendance, and assist with employee documentation and training. \- Communicate with the Vice President of Operations and Production Managers to ensure a smooth transition to the next shift. \- Ensure accurate reporting of all production transactions and other inventory movements. \- Supervise facility and employee safety and security during shift-related operations. Secure all doors and safety devices at the end of the shift. Relevant work experience: \- Minimum two years of experience as a trained line leader, production worker, supervisor, or manager in a GMP environment. Additional requirements: \- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot manufacturing process issues onsite. \- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., using SUM function, setting borders, adjusting column width, inserting charts, enabling text wrapping, sorting, setting headers and footers, or configuring print scaling). \- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Word (e.g., inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers, and tables; or adjusting table columns).
