Handling of common incidents and documentation Description and details of responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for providing operational support and first-level technical support at sales points, ensuring the proper functioning of computing equipment, point-of-sale (POS) systems, peripherals, scales, and technological devices, in accordance with guidelines established by the Sales Point Technical Support Manager and the Systems Manager. Their primary function is to prevent operational interruptions, handle common incidents, document activities, and promptly escalate cases exceeding their level of responsibility, thereby contributing to the continuity of daily operations. **THIS POSITION IS FOR SALES POINTS** Experience and Requirements **Specific Knowledge:** * Basic Windows usage. * File, folder, and manual backup management. * Basic configuration of local and network printers. * Basic hardware fault diagnosis. * Basic concepts: IP, gateway, DNS (user level). * Connectivity testing (ping, cable inspection). * Identification of common network or internet failures. * Basic operation of POS systems. * Support for ticket printers, scanners, and PIN pads. * Identification of common errors. * Basic use of security cameras. * Identification of obvious faults in CCTV or alarm systems. * Reporting of relevant events. **Skills and Competencies:** * Ability to follow procedures. * Orderliness, responsibility, and punctuality. * Good communication with users. * Service-oriented attitude and quick learning ability. * Willingness to travel between branches. * Teamwork and working under supervision.
