Description
We are seeking a BIM Project and Coordination Leader.
Objective: Lead multidisciplinary teams (Architecture, Structural, and MEP) to ensure proper integration and coordination of BIM models according to project standards (LOD, BEP).
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in BIM project leadership and management roles (e.g., BIM Manager or Lead BIM Coordinator).
Specific High-Rise Experience: Demonstrable experience across the full design and/or construction cycle of towers with a minimum of 20 levels.
Mixed-Use Experience: Participation in projects integrating complex programmatic uses (*commercial, residential, and hospitality*).
Advanced Technical Knowledge:
Expert proficiency in BIM platforms (Revit Architecture, Structure & MEP, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud).
Computational Design: Practical experience using Dynamo, Rhino/Grasshopper, or Python applied to architecture and BIM automation.
Construction Techniques: In-depth knowledge of modern construction systems, specifically regarding the design, modularization, and implementation of prefabricated construction techniques (precast concrete, modular structural steel, panelized façades, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Mixed-Use Tower Management: Lead the development of complex vertical projects integrating commercial, residential, and hospitality programs, resolving logistics, circulation, and usage-specific regulatory challenges.
Computational Design Implementation: Utilize and promote parametric and computational design tools (e.g., Dynamo, Grasshopper) to automate repetitive tasks, optimize complex geometries, analyze building performance data, and generate efficient solutions.
Prefabricated Component Integration: Plan and coordinate Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA). Ensure BIM models account for tolerances, assembly logistics, and precise fabrication drawings for prefabricated or modular construction elements.
Quality Control and Clash Detection: Lead coordination sessions (Clash Detection) using Navisworks or similar tools, proposing technically and constructively viable solutions.
Schedule and Cost Management: Extract accurate quantity take-offs from models (4D and 5D) to support budgeting and planning departments, ensuring the project remains within established margins.
We offer:
$60,000 as professional fees
A portfolio of projects and/or examples of scripts/automations developed in prior BIM processes will be requested.
Interested candidates should submit their CV.
