Req ID: 77295 **Description** --------------- We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong interest in cybersecurity to join our security operations team. This role provides hands\-on exposure to security monitoring, incident detection, and operational support, while offering opportunities to learn and grow in a real enterprise security environment.The ideal candidate is curious, eager to learn, and interested in developing a career in cybersecurity. You will work closely with experienced team members, supporting daily security operations and contributing to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives. **Responsibilities** * Security Detections: Assist in identifying and reviewing security alerts and detections across security platforms. * Ticket Support: Provide support in handling and tracking security\-related tickets. * Security Tool Monitoring: Monitor security tools and dashboards to identify potential issues or incidents. * Research and Learning: Continuously research cybersecurity topics, tools, and threats to improve technical knowledge. * Documentation: Create and maintain knowledge base articles, procedures, and internal documentation. **Required Knowledge and Skills** * Ability to effectively use search engines for technical research and troubleshooting. * Understanding of basic networking concepts, including the TCP/IP 3\-way handshake. * Basic knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows and/or Linux). * Currently enrolled in 5th semester or higher in a related degree program: + Cibernética Electronica + Ciencias Computacionales + Ingeniería en Computación + Licenciatura en Sistemas Computacionales + Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales * Conversational and written English proficiency. * Strong interest in cybersecurity. * Ability to understand and reason about programming syntax and logic. **Desirable Qualifications** Coursework completed in Operating Systems.
