Lead improvement plans and develop cost-effective methods **Job Description** Main responsibilities: * Maintain customs policies, ensure an exclusive implementation current to the evolution of global needs, local regulations and corporate policies/standards in Medline global manufacturing facilities * Manage and track the import of components, machinery, samples, salvaged material and any material in which the process requires its import. * Manage and track the export of finished product, components, machinery, subassemblies any material in which the process requires its export * Control the import and export of fixed assets; Control the inventory of the equipment, correlating it with customs data and financial data. * Maintain an efficient import and export flow, prepare internal performance analysis reports * Design cost\-effective methods for the import and export operation by developing improvement and savings projects. * Implement internal procedures * Ensure compliance with FDA requirements such as inspections, information, rejections in coordination with the supply department * Manage relationships and agreements with customs agents and other third parties involved in the export and import processes. * Manage supply chain security, C\-TPAT and OAS security initiatives. * Promote and manage improvement plans for the department, automation and tools for reviewing the correct declaration of information before and after dispatch. * Follow up on the generation of information necessary for the effective monitoring of the Metrics established by management. * Implement audits of the inventory control system, compliance with tariff and non\-tariff regulations, permit balances, authorizations, etc. * Ensure effective training in your area and communication of changes to whomever is required.
