Summary: The Import-Export Analyst will manage import/export processes, update databases, verify information, transmit VUCEM-SAT data, monitor shipments, and communicate status to clients. Support in foreign trade and customs audits Description and details of activities The import\-export analyst will be responsible for carrying out the import and export processes for merchandise, feeding and updating databases, verifying information from different software programs, transmitting VUCEM\-SAT information, reviewing documents and information sent to customs agents and transporters, monitoring shipments, and notifying internal and external clients on their status. Experience and requirements * Bachelor's degree in foreign trade customs * \+1 Year in a similar role * Basic knowledge of tariff classification of medical products (Preferably) * US compliance * ENGLISH\-Intermediate * SAP\-AS400\-Office Windows * Millennium, CSAWIN * Data capture and invoice generation in AS400, verification of shipping lists, review of information, and reporting of discrepancies when applicable. * Order capture in SAP for payment to the sterilizer, tracking and reporting of POs pending shipment, and correcting discrepancies. * Assignment of consecutive customs orders, sending information, and tracking for timely updates of the STC and other related tools. * Review of transmitted information to obtain COVE/DODA/PITA/BILL OF LAW import and export documents prior to clearance. * Review of information required for the import and export of equipment, spare parts, and consumables in the various software programs used. * Review of proper processing of in\-bond shipments, tax calculations, and monitoring of expiration dates. * Monitoring of sterilizer operations, reporting of open orders, corrections, sending information, and confirming their status. * Support in internal and/or external foreign trade and customs audits. * Support in reviewing invoices for payment to participants in the logistics chain. * Support in customs acknowledgments when necessary. * Provide support and information to the various positions within the company's department, as well as actively participate in improvement projects and training.
