Job Profile Supports compliance and coordinates with MEX and USA import/export international shipments, ensuring legal compliance and smooth delivery by handling logistics, preparing customs paperwork (like invoices and packing lists), and tracking shipments. Key duties include arranging transportation with freight forwarders, communicating with international suppliers and customs, resolving shipping issues, and maintaining organized records of all transactions. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of international trade regulations are essential for this role under USMCA trade agreement. Key Responsibilities: * Documentation: Prepare and process various documents for international shipments, including invoices, packing lists, bills of landing, and certificates of origin. * Logistics Coordination: Arrange and coordinate freight deliveries and collections between ports, airports, and warehouses. * Shipment Tracking: Monitor the progress of international shipments and update clients on their status. * Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the shipping process. * Compliance: Ensure that all import and export procedures comply with national, state, and international regulations and laws. * Record Keeping: Manage and maintain accurate databases and records for all import and export activities. * Communication: Work closely with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments. * Provides the U.S. and Mexican customs brokers with the necessary information to determine the correct tariff classification. * Verifies that the Warehouse has the correct list of materials to be exported. * Receives and reviews documentation from customs brokers for declarations and the presentation of statistics required by the government (SECOFI, SHCP, INEGI, etc.).
