Job Summary: Mold technician with experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, manufacturing of mold accessories, and technical support to molding machines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of plastic injection molds 2. Technical support to molding machines for quality assurance 3. Manufacturing of mold component accessories Job Description and Detailed Activities * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on plastic injection molds, following the mold shop's procedures and work instructions. * Provide technical support to molding machines requiring mold inspections and/or repairs on-machine due to quality-related issues. * Implement mold modifications resulting from engineering changes assigned by the Supervisor. * Participate in mold shipping and/or receiving activities as required. * Follow mold identification, storage, and handling procedures. * Manufacture mold component accessories using various equipment in the mold shop. * Adhere to applicable safety and environmental regulations for this position. * Complete the relevant documentation forms for these activities. * Maintain tools in good working condition. * Participate in cleaning duties assigned by the Supervisor for the designated mold shop. Experience and Requirements **Mandatory** * 3 years in a similar position. * Lathe. * Milling machine. * Surface grinder. * EDM sinker machine. * Measuring instruments. * Overhead crane operation. * Preventive and corrective mold maintenance. * Blueprint interpretation. * Hot runner systems. * TIG welding. * Knowledge of molding processes.
