Job Summary: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds, provide technical support to molding machines, and carry out modifications as required by engineering. Operation of lathes, milling machines, and TIG welding Description and details of duties * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on plastic injection molds, following the mold shop's procedures and work instructions. * Provide technical support to molding machines requiring mold inspections and/or repairs on-machine due to quality-related issues. * Carry out mold modifications resulting from engineering changes assigned by the Supervisor. * Participate in mold shipping and/or receiving activities as required. * Follow mold identification, storage, and handling procedures. * Fabricate mold component accessories using various equipment in the mold shop. * Comply with applicable safety and environmental rules for this position. * Complete the relevant forms for these activities. * Maintain tools in good condition. * Participate in mold shop cleaning responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor. Experience and Requirements **Mandatory** * 3 years in a similar position. * Lathe operation. * Milling machine operation. * Surface grinding machine. * Electrical discharge machining (EDM) sinker. * Measuring instruments. * Overhead crane operation. * Preventive and corrective mold maintenance. * Blueprint interpretation. * Hot runner systems. * TIG welding. * Knowledge of molding processes.
