Summary: A Test Engineer designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods for testing systems and equipment, performing multi-disciplined tasks early in product development. Highlights: 1. Opportunity to work in office, lab, and manufacturing facilities. **POSITION SUMMARY:** A Test Engineer designs, develops, and implements cost\-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. The position performs a variety of technical, multi\-disciplined tasks early in the Product Development Process to provide timely, flexible, universal tools and processes. The Test Engineer makes knowledgeable, data\-driven decisions and employs innovative technologies with optimal control and maximum speed and flexibility. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Ensure testability of new product designs, providing feedback to design teams addressing opportunities for defects in manufacturing and field use. * Accurately estimate project costs as associated with implementing test solutions. * Own the test requirements from the vendor to shipment to the customer. \- Verify products meet their functional requirements \- including design verification and manufacturing screens. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. * Analyze capabilities and ensure control of critical parameters of products and test equipment. **WORK ENVIRONMENT:** Test Engineers regularly work in office, lab, and manufacturing facilities. Travel to international manufacturing and/or development locations may be required. **SKILLS:** * Must have strong problem\-solving attributes. * Able to operate a variety of electrical test instrumentation. * Capable in hardware and software development. * Strong at communicating with and influencing design teams, vendors, and customers. **EXPERIENCE:** **Desirable:** * Greater than 3 years of relevant design/development team and/or manufacturing support. Proven ability to methodically solve complex, technical issues. Demonstrated proficency in NI LabView test application development. * Fluent English * VISA * Passport * Willing to travel for trainings **EDUCATION:** **Essential:** Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline **Desirable:** 6\-sigma or equivalent statistical, problem\-solving methodology
