Leadership, communication, and decision-making. **Vacancy: Site Safety Coordinator / Construction** **Location:** Mexicali, Baja California **Position Type:** Full-time Temporary contract **Job Description:** We are seeking a **Site Safety Coordinator** responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards in construction projects. The candidate will be in charge of risk prevention, supervision of safe working conditions, and promoting a safety culture on-site. **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise compliance with safety and hygiene regulations on-site. * Implement and monitor safety programs. * Conduct risk assessments and inspection walkthroughs. * Coordinate safety training and safety talks (inductions, 5-minute meetings, etc.). * Investigate incidents and accidents, generating reports and corrective actions. * Verify proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Document control (work permits, risk assessments, logs). * Coordinate emergency response teams and drills. **Requirements:** * Engineering degree (Industrial, Environmental, Civil or related field). * Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety—mandatory. * OSHA knowledge—mandatory. * Knowledge of NOM-031-STPS-2011 regulation—mandatory. * Experience in risk analysis and work permit management. * Leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. **Working Hours:** * Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. * Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Position Type: Project-based or fixed-term Contract Duration: 12 months Salary: $12,000.00 – $20,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
