Description and details of activities The position is responsible for the CNC programs in the fabrication area with metals and plastics materials. Establish the standard time process for each PN and the correct resource usage as well. Provide technical support to the operational needs regarding CNC machines, NC programs and machining processes, etc., as the area’s expert. *Essential duties and responsibilities:* * Analyze and implement solutions to resolve internal and external quality issues related to the CNC machining process. * Define standard times in the machining process in the fabrication area according to CNC equipment. * Establish the lifetime for cutting tools, and control and manage their storage. * Analyze and select cutting tools, including min/max definitions. * Support FAI, engineering dry runs, and CNC processes for NPI. * Correctly introduce chemicals and document them in work instructions (WI). * Implement process standardizations and 5S. * Implement SMED and drive improvements through innovations using new technologies. * Apply safety and ergonomic considerations in machining processes. * Apply Poka-yoke principles to all implemented setups. * Conduct studies related to cost control, cost reduction, and inventory control through the application of Lean principles. * Determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Experience and requirements *Required competences:* Education: A professional degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering, diploma, or equivalent technical education is desirable, with 8\+ years of experience programming CNC machines. Experience: Experience in a metalworking environment using CAD, CAM, and CNC machines. Certifications: Green Belt (desirable for entry and intermediate positions, mandatory for experienced and advanced roles) Languages: Advanced English Level Job Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Microsoft Excel (Mandatory for Intermediate and higher-level positions) AutoCAD, Solidworks, NX, and other CAD programs NX, Mastercam, and other CAM programs SAP knowledge Knowledge of process improvement and Lean Six Sigma tools GD\&T and drawing interpretation skills. CNC knowledge; ability to understand G-code and CNC machine controls.
