**Credit and Collections Analyst – Mexicali, B.C.** --------------------------------------------------- **Salary:** $12,950 gross monthly **Additional Benefits:** 10% punctuality bonus 10% attendance bonus Grocery vouchers worth $1,150 monthly Statutory benefits **Work Schedule:** Monday to Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. **Fixed Day Off:** Sunday ### **Position Objective** Ensure efficient management of the credit and collections portfolio, guaranteeing compliance with internal policies, proper application of payments, and timely recovery of outstanding balances, contributing to the company's financial health. **Main Responsibilities** **Customer and Credit Management** * Enter, update, and retrieve information for credit applications. * Verify that approved applications meet company criteria. * Prepare account statements and keep customer portfolio updated. * Promptly follow up on accounts receivable to prevent legal actions. **Portfolio and Billing** * Perform credit invoicing and track from sale to payment collection. * Apply payments, deposits, and calculate late interest charges. * Conduct phone collections and bank reconciliations. * Manage and control current and overdue portfolios, ensuring they are up to date. * Ensure daily and monthly bank reconciliations (including Smart deposits). * Prepare daily closing entries and weekly/monthly collection forecasts. * Stay informed about applicable tax reforms related to invoicing and payment methods. **Operations** * Assist internal and external customers on credit and collections matters. * Provide operational support in the Cashier area (from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. or during lunch hours when required). * Collaborate in internal and external audits. * Support training for new or developing staff members. ### **Requirements** * Minimum of 1 year of experience in credit and collections or related areas. * Knowledge of bank reconciliations, billing, and portfolio management. * Experience with collections platforms and billing systems. * Familiarity with current tax regulations is desirable. * Intermediate Excel skills and email proficiency. ### **Location:** **Mexicali, Baja California** If you are organized, responsible, and results-oriented, we are looking for you!
