**Logistic Transportation Operator (Local and International Freight)** **Location:** Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico **Operating Area:** Mexico (primarily Baja California) and the U.S. (California, Arizona, Nevada) **Type of Transport:** Tractor-trailers with dry vans **Objective:** Efficiently manage domestic and international land freight logistics operations, ensuring optimal unit allocation, securing inbound and return loads, and compliance with regulations in both countries. Responsible for coordinating daily operations, customer service, operator assignment, and route monitoring. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate and dispatch freight units (tractor-trailers with dry vans) for local and international routes. * Acquire customers and negotiate rates for transportation on both sides of the border (Mexico and the U.S.). * Locate and secure export, import, and backhaul loads to maximize equipment utilization. * Monitor the status of units in transit and ensure on-time delivery compliance. * Maintain constant communication with operators and provide operational support. * Control and update necessary documentation for cross-border operations (bills of lading, permits, etc.). * Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure legal compliance in both countries. * Manage and follow up on operational incidents, delays, or disruptions en route. * Supervise preventive maintenance of units in coordination with the responsible department. * Generate performance reports and logistical KPIs.
