The Production Planner plans, coordinates, and optimizes production processes within a company, ensuring that resources, materials, and production times are used efficiently to meet established deadlines. Responsible for the planning and preparation of production programs for the manufacturing of products. Develops a master schedule to establish the sequence and timing of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data, performing mathematical calculations to determine the manufacturing processes of the product and the associated human resource needs.
