Job Description and Detailed Responsibilities
Manage transfer-specific activities and coordinate the transfer of product equipment and maintenance procedures, which involve:
* Technical Document Writing/Review/Correction
* Coordinate and provide training plans for technicians
* Performing First Article Inspection
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
* Reports to the engineering manager and is responsible for carrying out product transfer projects with moderate supervision.
* Manage and support product transfers.
* Validate and ensure all required test equipment, knowledge, documentation, tools, and engineering requirements are properly transferred.
* Work on collaborative project teams in conjunction with project engineers and project managers.
* Manage own time on projects and departmental goals, milestones, and budgets.
* Technical responsibilities include system engineering, analysis, system integration, and verification.
* Review and analyze technical documentation on maintenance processes
* Monitor testing and analyze data to verify product performance against customer and design specifications.
* Evaluate engineering drawings and schematics.
* Testing and troubleshooting of hydro-electro-mechanical sub-assemblies
Experience and Requirements
**Job Knowledge**
* Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics.
* Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and engineering drawing standards
* Knowledge in design of wiring, cabling, shielding, noise management, and electrical packaging.
* Working knowledge of computer hardware and interfacing; and communication protocols.
* Working knowledge of various sources of electrical power: batteries, DC power, power budgeting, and 3-phase AC.
* Electronics test equipment and tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.)
* Familiarity with civil avionics digital interfaces
**Education/Experience**
* Bachelor's degree in engineering
* 3-5 years' experience with Projects and Program Transfer
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical issues.
Good documentation and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
* Basic experience with Enovia or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools would be a plus. Basic experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP tools would be a plus.
* Candidates without PLM and ERP/MRP experience will be trained.
