




The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services essential for the company’s operations. This role ensures cost\-effective purchasing while maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business goals. * Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance. * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand. * Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost\-saving opportunities. * Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards. * Lead and mentor the purchasing team to achieve departmental objectives. * Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, cost analysis, and supplier performance. * Collaborate with finance and operations to align purchasing with budgetary constraints. * Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing with suppliers. ### **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. * Proven experience (5\+ years) in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a managerial role. * Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. * Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. * Knowledge of sourcing and vendor management. * Ability to lead and develop a team. * Detail\-oriented with strong organizational skills. ### **Preferred Skills:** * Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPM). * Experience in international sourcing and logistics. * Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices. ### **Working Conditions:** * Office\-based with occasional travel to supplier sites or industry events. * Fast\-paced environment requiring multitasking and decision\-making under pressure.
