Job Summary: ALTEN Mexico is seeking a Junior/Industrial Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production lines, improving efficiency, quality, and flow. Key Highlights: 1. Develop expertise in continuous improvement and Lean transformation. **ALTEN Mexico seeks to integrate a Junior Manufacturing Engineer / Industrial Engineer** into its team to support optimization and improvement initiatives for production lines in assembly and manufacturing environments. This position combines process analysis, layout design support, and shop-floor participation to enhance production efficiency, quality, and flow. The engineer will participate in projects focused on process optimization, productivity enhancement, and Lean transformation. **Job Objective** Support the analysis, design, and implementation of improvements in production lines to optimize material flow, operational efficiency, and productive capacity, under the supervision of senior engineers. **Main Responsibilities** **Analysis and Technical Support** * Support analysis of current layouts, cycle times, WIP, and production flow. * Contribute to developing future-state line designs. * Participate in line balancing studies and capacity analysis. * Support creation of layout models and technical documentation. * Collect and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities. **Shop-Floor Support** * Support implementation of production line improvements. * Participate in shop-floor activities to validate processes and changes. * Collaborate on workstation and tooling improvements. * Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen). * Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams. **Requirements** **Academic Qualifications** * Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. **Experience** * 0–2 years of experience (professional internships accepted). * Experience in manufacturing or production environments is desirable. **Technical Skills** * Knowledge of manufacturing processes. * Proficiency in Excel. * Basic knowledge of CREO or similar design tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.). * Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, continuous improvement). * Preferred: Initial experience with ORACLE, Teamcenter, or Inventor. **Professional Competencies** * Analytical thinking. * Proactivity and eagerness to learn. * Teamwork. * Strong communication skills. * Willingness to work on the shop floor. **Benefits** We offer: * + Base salary + Major Medical Expense Insurance (includes dental and vision plans) + 15-day year-end bonus + 25% vacation premium + 12 vacation days (starting from the first year) + Social security + Profit-sharing (PTU) + Biweekly grocery vouchers
