Description and details of activities * Responsible for coordinating with sales the best shipping options, especially in urgent cases. * Track shipments until delivery and expedite them if necessary. * Monitor collect shipments and those stored in Calexico. * Schedule appointments with carriers and handle invoicing for courier shipments. * Daily review of inventory and warehouse outbound movements in Calexico. * Responsible for preparing commercial invoices for international shipments. * Preparation of VGM for maritime containers. * Calculation of maritime container loads in the MRP system for weekly shipments. * Requesting container bookings with shipping lines timely according to calculations. * Sending required information on time for proper container clearance. * Scheduling and tracking international pickups and shipments of finished goods and raw materials. * Responsible for filing claims with carriers in cases of shortages, losses, or damages (Claims). * Prepare shipping labels for courier services such as FEDEX or UPS. * Responsible for requesting shipping quotes through the PPR system. * Create ASNs on customer portals. * Handle corporate requests related to Logistics. * Respond to inquiries from other departments regarding shipment or pickup information. * Continuously seek improvement in all assigned tasks. Experience and requirements * Completed degree in International Trade and Customs, International Relations, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics - shipping within the manufacturing export sector. * Knowledge in inventory management, supply control, material distribution, and transportation. * Experience with inventory management systems and ERP (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar). * English proficiency at 80% level (MANDATORY) * Problem-solving skills, results-oriented, organized, detail-oriented, team player, proactive.
