Keep the workstation and equipment clean and organized Part-Time Cook **Location:** Narvarte Neighborhood, CDMX **Position Type:** Part-time **Schedule:** Tuesday to Sunday Shift 1: 29 working hours (Morning shift) Salary $6,500\-$8,000 Shift 2: 36\.5 working hours (Afternoon shift) Salary $8,000\-$10,000 \+Vacation\+Year-end bonus Job Objective Prepare food according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality, presentation, hygiene, and appropriate service timing. Responsibilities **Food Preparation** * Prepare menu dishes following established recipes and portion sizes. * Ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality. * Meet preparation time requirements during service. **Mise en place** * Prepare ingredients before service (washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing). * Keep the workstation ready and organized. **Quality Control** * Inspect ingredient freshness and condition. * Monitor portion sizes to avoid waste. **Hygiene and Cleaning** * Maintain a clean and organized workstation. * Comply with food hygiene and handling regulations. * Wash utensils and equipment used during the shift. **Operational Support** * Assist in kitchen organization. * Report shortages of supplies. * Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service. Requirements * Minimum 2 years' **experience in a kitchen or restaurant**. * Basic knowledge of cooking techniques. * Punctuality and responsibility. * Ability to work under pressure. * Orderliness and cleanliness. * Teamwork.
