Description
If your experience goes beyond simply executing imports and exports — encompassing tax compliance assurance, process auditing, IMMEX inventory control, and anticipation of regulatory changes, **this position is for you.**
We are seeking a professional who maintains full operational control while also being capable of analyzing, questioning, and improving processes that directly impact costs, risks, and business continuity.
You will join a food and beverage company with high operational demands, where compliance is non-negotiable and precision is critical.
**Role Objective**
Ensure every international trade operation is executed correctly, complies with current regulations, and is supported by robust fiscal inventory control, documentation, and traceability — minimizing risk and optimizing operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage and control inventories under Annex 24, ensuring consistency between systems and actual operations
* Validate IMMEX program compliance across all operations
* Execute and comprehensively track imports and exports (documentation, logistics, and customs clearance)
* Prepare for and attend internal and external audits (SAT), ensuring full compliance
* Analyze Official Journal of the Federation (DOF) publications and assess their operational impact
* Ensure complete documentary traceability for international trade files
* Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal departments
* Identify fiscal and operational risks and implement preventive actions
* Optimize logistics costs and operating conditions
* Participate in certification processes such as AEO (Authorized Economic Operator)
**Required Profile**
* Solid experience with Annex 24 (mandatory)
* Experience with the IMMEX program
* Comprehensive knowledge of international trade operations
* Experience in customs audits and compliance
* Proficiency with VUCEM and active consultation of the DOF
* Knowledge of the Customs Law, General Import and Export Tax Law (LIGIE), and Incoterms
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in similar roles
* Degree in International Trade, International Business, or Administration (completed degree)
**Critical Profile Requirement**
This role requires a professional who consistently stays updated on regulatory matters.
**Practical experience is mandatory in:**
* Tracking tariff reforms and changes
* Regular consultation of official sources such as the DOF and VUCEM
* Assessing the operational impact of regulatory changes
* Implementing adjustments to ensure compliance and efficiency
If your experience has been purely operational and does not include this level of analysis, this position is not suitable for you.
**Desirable**
* Knowledge of Annex 30 (VAT/IEPS)
* Experience with AEO certification
* Participation in process improvement or implementation of controls
* Experience in logistics cost optimization
**Key Competencies**
* High attention to detail
* Analytical capability
* Focus on compliance and risk prevention
