MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR · UNIVERSIDAD INSURGENTES · We seek a proactive and multidisciplinary Maintenance Supervisor who ensures optimal conditions and full functionality of our facilities. You will be responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe and suitable environment for academic and administrative activities. General Requirements: Experience: Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in general building maintenance, preferably in educational or corporate environments. Education: Completed high school (desirable with technical knowledge or certifications). Age: 30 to 50 years old. Gender: Male. Technical Skills and Knowledge: Practical proficiency required in the following areas: Civil Maintenance (Minor Works): Solid knowledge and experience in masonry, patching, and finishing work. Electrical Systems: Ability to perform basic diagnostics and repairs in electricity (replacing light fixtures, outlets, switches, minor wiring). Hydrosanitary Installations: Experience in plumbing (repairing leaks, faucets, toilets, minor unclogging). Finishing Work: Experience in paint application and touch-ups for furniture and infrastructure. General Maintenance: Ability to perform general repairs and fixes on furniture, equipment, and structures. · Key Personal Competencies: Strong Sense of Urgency and Proactivity: Ability to respond quickly and effectively to failures and unexpected requests, proposing solutions. Discipline and Organization: Methodical execution of tasks, adhering to safety protocols and scheduled timelines. Collaboration: Ability to integrate and work effectively as part of a team. · ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Preventive Maintenance: Implement and execute the scheduled preventive maintenance plan for key areas, extending the lifespan of facilities. Corrective Maintenance: Immediately attend to and resolve reports of facility failures or malfunctions, including repairs to electrical systems, plumbing, masonry damage, and painting. Supervision and Operations: Ensure optimal operating conditions across all areas (classrooms, offices, common areas, and outdoor spaces). Cleaning and Order: Perform cleaning of specific work areas and support maintaining order in offices and restrooms. Inventory Review: Assist in basic management of tools, materials, and spare parts. · WE OFFER · Salary: $11,500.00 MXN per month gross (paid before tax deductions). Statutory Benefits (IMSS, Infonavit, year-end bonus, vacation pay). Job Stability: Direct employment contract with the institution. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday: 09:00–19:00 hrs (with 1-hour lunch break).
