Coordination with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. **Project Engineer — Control \& Automation** Location: Tlalnepantla (hybrid work: office and job sites; willingness to travel) Company: Boyco Engineering **Description** We are seeking a Project Engineer with experience in control and automation to plan, design, execute, and monitor industrial projects, ensuring integration of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, as well as adherence to schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements. **Responsibilities** Manage projects from engineering through commissioning and handover to the client. Develop and review basic and detailed engineering. Select and standardize automation equipment (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, variable frequency drives, instrumentation). Program and/or supervise programming of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA. Verify installations, wiring, testing, and commissioning. Prepare and validate technical documentation. Coordinate with team leads, clients, suppliers, and internal teams; report progress and deviations. Control schedules, budgets, and scope; participate in continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. **Requirements** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in industrial control and automation projects. Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, or others), HMIs, and SCADA. Experience with instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level), variable frequency drives, and motor control. Ability to read and interpret electrical and control drawings; knowledge of electrical/industrial regulations. Experience in project management (scope, cost, time, risk). Willingness to travel; Class A driver’s license. Availability for field and office work; strong communication skills. **Preferred** Certifications in industrial automation.
