Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to optimize SQL queries, audit databases, and manage security, ensuring data integrity and availability. Key Highlights: 1. SQL query optimization and user management 2. Collaboration on data security and access policies 3. Database implementation and maintenance **Responsibilities:** * Identify and optimize queries while minimizing impact on other processes and ensuring timely information delivery. * Conduct periodic audits to identify users accessing information and update or revoke access according to established security policies. * Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain data access and security policies. * Implement and maintain database support and maintenance processes, ensuring data integrity and availability. * Develop and maintain detailed documentation of optimization and maintenance procedures performed. **Requirements:** * Proven experience in SQL query optimization, especially in environments where long-running processes negatively impact others. * Solid knowledge of database auditing and user management. * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with other departments to implement access and security policies. * Experience in database implementation and maintenance, preferably with specific experience in Amazon Redshift. * University degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field. **Note:** Specific experience with Amazon Redshift and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment requiring adaptability and problem-solving under pressure will be highly valued.
