Quality Engineer

Job Summary: Ensure the quality of distributed T-shirts by implementing, supervising, and continuously improving quality control processes in receiving, storage, and distribution. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement textile quality management systems. 2. Supervise quality inspections and identify textile defects. 3. Coordinate corrective actions and train staff. **Job Objective** Ensure that distributed T-shirts comply with the company's established quality standards and textile industry regulations through the implementation, supervision, and continuous improvement of quality control processes in receiving, storage, and distribution. Key duties include: * Design, implement, and maintain a quality management system focused on textile products. * Establish inspection criteria for T-shirts (raw materials, sewing, printing, finishing, sizing, and labeling). * Supervise quality inspections upon receipt from suppliers and for finished goods. * Identify textile defects such as color variations, shrinkage, stitching issues, pilling, among others. * Manage returns, customer complaints, and non-conformities. * Evaluate and audit suppliers from a textile quality perspective. * Conduct quality tests (washing, durability, colorfastness, etc.). * Coordinate corrective and preventive actions. * Train staff on quality standards and handling of textile products.
