*This vacancy is from the Talenteca.com job board* ### **Vacancy at AGVS in Cuajimalpa de Morelos, Mexico City** **IMPORTANT: COMPANY IS SEEKING:** **Accounting Manager** **Objective** Lead, supervise, and ensure the proper operation of the company’s accounting, tax, banking, and financial control functions, guaranteeing compliance with internal standards, corporate policies, legal requirements, and reporting to HQ, as well as correct execution of processes within systems. **Requirements:** Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting supervisory or managerial positions. Proven experience in: * + General Accounting + Audits + Taxes + Treasury + SAP **Languages: Advanced English (mandatory)** Technical Knowledge * SAP (accounting modules) * Advanced Excel * Banking processes * Mexican taxation * Corporate financial reporting * Revaluations, provisions, clearings **Responsibilities:** * Guide the closing of open items assigned to ACC and monitor open items from other departments. * Perform accounting revaluations in SAP. * Execute multiple SAP transaction codes for: + Manual journal entry posting \| Accounting adjustments * Record provisions in SAP and SSF * Configure payroll layout templates * Record, monitor, and remit taxes. Banking Authorizations and Treasury * Approve payments (in the absence of the Finance Controller). * Release payments previously approved by the Finance Controller. * Foreign exchange buying and selling * Direct contact with banks and certain suppliers. Financial and Corporate Reporting * Prepare and submit Fast Report, Quarterly Report, and Half-Year Report. * Prepare the Cost Reconciliation Report. Audits, Taxes, and External Accounting Firms * Review the audit process jointly with the Finance Controller. * Coordinate and liaise with external accounting firms regarding: + Tax matters \- Working papers \- Tax documentation * Address tax-related issues, internal and external audits.
