*This job posting comes from the Talenteca.com job board* ### **Job opening for Grupo Castillo in Cuajimalpa de Morelos, Mexico City** LEADING COMPANY IN PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE, IS LOOKING FOR: ACCOUNTANT – CONSTRUCTION SECTOR REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or Finance (degree and professional license) Solid experience and technical expertise in accounting, taxation, and social security Proven experience with tax calculation and filing Specialization in Income Tax Law (LISR) and up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations Advanced knowledge of SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and SIROC systems Proven leadership experience managing and restructuring teams RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee accurate and efficient recording and documentation of all accounting transactions across all legal entities within the group; as well as planning and monitoring key internal and external financial balances and ratios. Final responsibility for preparing financial statements—internal or audited—for companies requiring them, including proper management, safekeeping, and distribution to relevant departments. Ensure compliance with all tax obligations for every company in the group; including supervision of responses to tax or social security notifications, invitations, official requests, or audits. Supervise and coordinate the review of accounting records and filed taxes from the past five years (including current year) to implement necessary adjustments and decision-making. Coordinate timely responses to pending SAT or IMSS notifications through internal or external resources. Responsible for payroll calculations, benefits, social security contributions, and employee terminations; as well as issuing and safeguarding corresponding receipts. Ensure compliance with tax and social security obligations before relevant authorities such as IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, State Treasuries (Payroll Tax), etc. Supervise compliance with contractor accounting and payment records for each applicable SIROC, ensuring proper guidance to suppliers. Likewise, monitor adherence to IMSS-SIROC regulations on each project, including handling related notifications or audits. Redistribute workloads within the accounting-tax-payroll team, redefine and clarify roles, information flows, deliverables, deadlines, objectives (department activity calendar), among others. Responsible for safeguarding, controlling, and managing all accounting, financial, and tax information to ensure proper delivery to other departments or external entities. Manage and ensure the proper functioning of the group’s accounting systems, as well as oversee necessary implementations in this area. Carry out current-year tax and accounting planning in coordination with the Director, organizing required personnel and/or executing necessary actions. Develop, update, implement, and communicate internal policies and guidelines needed to mitigate tax, accounting, and financial risks within the company.
