Job Objective** Ensure the full operability, integrity, and immediate response of fire protection systems (both preventive and reactive). The specialist must ensure that detection, alarm, and suppression equipment comply with international standards (NFPA) and official Mexican regulations to safeguard life and organizational assets. **2\. Main Responsibilities** * **Maintenance of Hydrant and Sprinkler Networks:** Supervision of pipeline pressure, flow tests, inspection of sprinkler heads, and physical condition of cabinets. * **Detection and Alarm Systems:** Functional testing of smoke and heat detectors, manual pull stations, notification appliances (strobe lights/sirens), and control panels. * **Fire Pump Equipment Maintenance:** Inspection and startup of primary pumps (diesel/electric) and jockey pumps. * **Special Suppression Systems:** Inspection of clean agent systems (FM\-200, CO2, Ecaro\-25\) in data rooms or critical areas. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Preparation of technical reports and completion of logbooks according to Civil Protection and insurance requirements. **3\. Education and Experience Requirements** * **Education:** Technical degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Safety, or Fire Protection. * **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years installing and maintaining fire protection systems in industrial facilities, hospitals, or corporate buildings. **4\. Required Certifications (Mandatory)** The candidate must hold **three certificates or credentials** validating technical specialization and regulatory knowledge: * **NFPA Code Certification (e.g., NFPA 25 or NFPA 72\):** Certificate confirming competence in inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems (NFPA 25\) or national fire alarm systems (NFPA 72\). * **Manufacturer Certification for Detection Panels (e.g., Notifier, Honeywell, Simplex, or Fire\-Lite):** Technical diploma certifying ability to program, perform bypasses, and diagnose faults in intelligent fire detection panels. * **Fire Pump System Certification (e.g., Peerless Pump, Armstrong, or Patterson):** Technical recognition of operational knowledge, alignment, and maintenance of fire pump controllers and motors. **5\.
