Job Summary: We are seeking a Librarian/Library Assistant for a sports club in CDMX, responsible for managing the library collection, serving users, and maintaining the library space. Permanent contract after performance evaluation We are a Spanish Sports Club with over 100 years of experience, located in the southern part of CDMX, in the Coyoacán borough, and we are looking for: Librarian/Library Assistant **Work Location: Near Estadio Azteca / Tren Ligero Registro Federal.** **Schedule: Fixed shift. If interested, contact us at: five, six, six, zero, eight, nine, three, five, eight, eight. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Librarianship, or related field. * Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in libraries, user service and guidance, technical support, information management, etc. * Organizational skills, user-oriented attitude, and basic document conservation knowledge. * Proficiency in databases, digital catalogs, Excel, Word, email, and school platforms. * Knowledge of cataloging, classification, and registration of books, magazines, and electronic resources. * Preferably residing in the southern or central area of CDMX. * Responsible, punctual person with willingness to work in a team. **WE OFFER:** * **Benefits exceeding statutory requirements.** * Year-end bonus, vacation bonus, profit sharing, and life insurance. * IMSS coverage from day one. * Weekly salary. * Complimentary uniforms. * Parking for motorcycles, bicycles, and cars. * Salary increases. * Job stability. * Permanent contract after performance evaluation **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Maintain up-to-date inventory of books, magazines, and digital resources. * Register, classify, label, and safeguard the bibliographic and educational collection. * Manage loans, returns, renewals, and penalties according to regulations. * Prepare reports on library usage, inventories, and acquisition needs. * Provide customer service to members (children, parents, etc.). * Supervise order, preservation, and appropriate conditions of the library space. * Identify damaged or obsolete materials and propose replacement actions.
