Leading the end-to-end operations of the payroll department We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Manager – Construction Position Objective Ensure the accurate administration and execution of payroll processes for operational, administrative, and field personnel, ensuring compliance with labor, tax, and social security obligations, as well as optimizing payroll-related compensation processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 8 years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years in managerial roles. Mandatory experience in companies operating in the Construction, Infrastructure, Engineering, Mining, or Project-based Construction sectors. Experience managing high-volume payrolls (more than 1,000 employees). In-depth knowledge of: Federal Labor Law. IMSS, INFONAVIT, and Fonacot. Income Tax (ISR) and payroll-related tax obligations. SUA, IDSE, and payroll systems. Labor and tax audits. Experience coordinating work teams. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end operations of the payroll department. Ensure accurate and timely calculation of weekly, biweekly, and special payrolls. Supervise payroll incidents, affiliation movements, and employee payments. Ensure compliance with obligations to IMSS, INFONAVIT, Fonacot, and tax authorities. Coordinate monthly closings and payroll-related accounting reconciliations. Support internal and external audits. Implement process improvements and automation. Generate KPIs, executive reports, and labor cost analyses.
