Floor Sales Associate

Description

Provide support for in-store operational floor activities by executing sales, merchandise placement, and customer service processes established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet operational and commercial performance indicators for the assigned store. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in accordance with applicable placement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper fronting and labeling to classify merchandise and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure accurate merchandise placement and optimal store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, to deliver excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures; also handle customer phone calls to resolve questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions involving cash or credit cards, and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s cash register policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse worker, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
