Job Summary: Support various kitchen tasks, from food preparation and portioning to inventory control and application of hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support in verifying requests and controlling inventory 2. Preparation and portioning of ingredients and dishes 3. Application of good hygiene and food handling practices * Assist in verifying requests, orders, and kitchen requirements against available stock, promptly reporting shortages. * Collaborate in basic inventory review and control, maintaining order and proper rotation of supplies. * Participate in brief coordination meetings with the kitchen team to align activities and service priorities. * Apply good hygiene, safety, and food handling practices in accordance with established standards. * Assist in conducting the weekly kitchen inventory for stock control. * Support online service handling and follow-up, ensuring compliance with quality and presentation standards. * Prepare production in advance and portion ingredients and dishes for daily service and subsequent days. * Assist in dish preparation under the supervision of the cook or responsible chef. * Collaborate in setting up and preparing the service line before opening. * Assist in implementing instructions and guidelines established by the kitchen supervisor and Management. * Participate in preparing seasonal or special dishes according to the chef’s instructions. * Report equipment maintenance issues or needs promptly. * Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of assigned work areas, utensils, and equipment. * Assist in preparing staff meals. * Collaborate in handling special services such as banquets and events, as scheduled.
