Position: Welding Technician Job Objective: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on boilers involving welding. Responsibilities Carry out maintenance on boilers and steam systems requiring welding repairs. Replace components or parts through welding application. Travel to various locations across the country where equipment is installed. Generate maintenance reports. Dimension assembly of parts. Prepare vessel joints. Apply welding rods 7018, 6013, 6010\. Bevel cleaning and interpretation of welding blueprints. Requirements Education: Completed high school diploma; technical degree in industrial electromechanics or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a welder. Skills: Tool handling: multimeter, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, etc. Knowledge: ASME certifications (desirable), pneumatic grinders, Lincoln and/or Miller welding machines. Work Modality: 100% on-site work with availability to travel. Position available in: Monterrey, Nuevo León.
