Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational processes within the automotive manufacturing or assembly facility. This role ensures production efficiency, quality standards, and cost\-effectiveness while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Operations Manager leads cross\-functional teams to achieve operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of manufacturing, production planning, logistics, and maintenance. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency. Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation to meet business objectives. Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and quality departments to ensure timely and accurate production schedules. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and health \& safety policies. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational data to drive decision\-making. Supervise and develop department managers and team leaders. Oversee vendor and supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials. Lead problem\-solving and root cause analysis for production or operational issues. Drive initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, and operational costs Education / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the automotive sector. Proven experience managing production teams and operational budgets. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
