Structural Draftsman - (AutoCAD + BIM Path)

Description

Job Summary: Technical support in drafting, 3D modeling, and structural activities, including occasional field participation and continuous professional development. Key Highlights: 1. Technical drawing and modification of technical plans in AutoCAD. 2. Progressive support in 3D modeling and BIM workflows. 3. Development of skills and training in the structural field. 2.1 Technical Drawing and Plans (AutoCAD) • Technical drawing and modification of technical plans in AutoCAD. • Updating plans (primarily structural and coordination plans with other disciplines). • File organization and control: layers, styles, cleanup, scales, presentation, and standards. 2.2 3D Modeling / BIM (progressive training) • Support in 3D modeling using SketchUp and/or Revit (as required by the project). • Gradual participation in BIM workflows, supported by the technical team. 2.3 Technical Support to the Structural Team • Support in assembling and managing technical project information (review, adjustments, coordination). • Basic quantifications and support in technical activities related to project development. 2.4 Field Support (occasional) – Soil Mechanics • Participation in field activities such as open-pit soundings, sampling, photographic documentation, and logistical support. • Organization of field evidence and information for the technical team. 2.5 Preparation and Technical Development Stage (structural focus) • Participate in a preparatory stage to strengthen technical skills and understand the structural team’s workflow. • Learn detailing criteria, structural interpretation of drawings, and the team’s internal processes. • Receive internal/external training (as per plan) to improve digital tools proficiency and technical support.-Requirements- Minimum Education: Higher Education – Bachelor's Degree 2 years of experience Languages: Spanish Age: between 22 and 35 years Knowledge: AutoCAD, Technical Drawing, Structural Design, Construction Processes, Structural Engineering Driver's License: A Willingness to Travel: Yes Willingness to Relocate: Yes Keywords: draftsman, draughtsman, dibujante, deliniante
