**DESCRIPTION**
A construction company is seeking an **Accounting Assistant** to support the company’s administrative, tax, and financial management, ensuring accurate accounting process control, compliance with tax authority obligations, and assistance in personnel administration in coordination with the accountant.
**Responsibilities**
* Review and validation of employment termination settlements in accordance with current legislation.
* Management of employee registrations, cancellations, and salary adjustments with the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS).
* Supervision and validation of movements in the Integrated Payroll System (SUA) and calculation of employer-employee contributions.
* Follow-up and coordination with external accounting firm.
* Support in accounting and administrative meetings for financial information review.
* Requesting, compiling, and analyzing monthly and annual financial statements.
* Review and validation of federal and state tax calculations (e.g., Income Tax [ISR], Value Added Tax [IVA]).
* Handling and follow-up on requirements and obligations before the Tax Administration Service (SAT).
* Management of payment reference numbers (líneas de captura) and IMSS payment control.
* Filing, control, and organization of accounting and administrative documentation.
**Required Skills and Profile**
* Organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Analytical ability and handling of confidential information.
* Basic/intermediate knowledge of accounting, IMSS, SUA, and SAT.
* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to work collaboratively and track administrative processes.
* Proactivity, responsibility, and strong communication skills.
* **Prior experience in construction companies or accounting firms is desirable.**
