Troubleshoot and resolve incidents **Cloud Operations Technician II** serves as a frontline guardian of our production infrastructure. You will monitor, maintain, and support systems that power both our customers and internal development teams. You must be able to learn quickly, follow established procedures, and apply sound judgment when resolving incidents. Key Responsibilities * Respond to and triage production alerts as the primary on-call responder * Troubleshoot and resolve issues using established runbooks and documentation * Escalate incidents to senior SREs or development teams with clear and actionable context * Execute formal incident management procedures, including communication and timeline documentation * Proactively monitor system health and performance through observability dashboards and tooling * Track service quotas and usage limits to prevent disruptions and cost overruns * Maintain and improve operational documentation and monitoring dashboards * Perform routine maintenance tasks (patching, security updates, infrastructure provisioning via IaC) * Manage user access for developer tools through ticket-based onboarding and offboarding workflows Required Qualifications * Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation * Experience responding to and triaging production alerts in a cloud environment * Strong ability to follow technical runbooks and SOPs with high attention to detail * Ability to update and maintain documentation in clear, concise English * Functional understanding of cloud infrastructure (virtual machines, networking, security groups) * Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, or Grafana * Strong written communication skills for documenting incidents and procedures Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform * Experience with configuration management tools and automated patching * Familiarity with user access and permissions management in cloud platforms * Basic scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) * Previous experience in operations, NOC, or service desk environments * Experience with Azure (preferred) Benefits * Competitive family medical, dental, vision, and life insurance * 3 additional company-paid holidays per year * 4 additional PTO days annually * Paid day off on your birthday * Mexican law benefits (15-day Christmas bonus, vacation days per law, 25% vacation bonus) * Awards and recognition program Type of position: Full-time Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per month Experience: * scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python): 3 years (Required) * Infrastructure as Code: 3 years (Required) * Datadog, Azure Monitor, or Grafana: 3 years (Required) Language: * English (Required) Work location: On-site employment
