Shipment Planner

Description

Job Summary: Plans and schedules shipments, coordinates with suppliers, and optimizes routes to ensure operational efficiency and inventory control. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in shipment planning, traffic, and distribution. 2. Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs regulations. 3. Proficiency in ERP, TMS, and WMS systems, advanced Excel, and advanced English. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and schedule daily/weekly shipments according to demand and business priorities. * Coordinate with carriers, customs agencies, and warehouses to ensure vehicle availability and loading timelines. * Prepare and review documentation required for domestic and export shipments. * Track in-transit shipments, monitoring arrival times, delays, or incidents. * Optimize routes and cargo consolidation to ensure operational efficiency and cost reduction. * Record, update, and verify information in ERP, WMS, or TMS systems. * Maintain consistent communication with internal and external customers to provide shipment status updates. * Monitor and review inventories linked to shipment planning. * Generate logistics reports and KPIs such as OTD, OTIF, Fill Rate, cycle times, among others. * Manage loading/unloading appointments and coordinate pickups, routes, and delivery time windows. * Address and resolve transportation incidents (delays, rejections, damages, shortages). **Job Requirements** *Education* * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field. *Experience* * 2–5 years in logistics, shipment planning, traffic, distribution, or transportation. * Experience in domestic shipments; international export experience preferred. *Technical Knowledge* * Shipment documentation * Transportation regulations and customs regulations. * Proficiency in ERP (SAP, Oracle, Infor), TMS, and WMS systems. * Advanced Excel. * Interpretation of logistics KPIs. * Advanced English Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $1\.00 \- $2\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
