This person will be responsible for ensuring coworkers have access to the best possible physical resources to fulfill their duties in accordance with the established production schedule. A maintenance supervisor must possess solid knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, freezing and refrigeration systems, and other specialties. In-depth understanding of all maintenance processes, as well as health, food safety, and industrial safety regulations is required. The ideal candidate should also possess administrative skills, such as report preparation, requesting quotations and budgets, etc. The objective is to ensure company facilities are well-maintained and suitable to support business operations. Responsibilities • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation. • Conduct facility inspections to identify and resolve issues. • Inspect plant hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure functionality. • Plan and supervise all installation and repair activities. • Assign workloads and supervise maintenance staff (maintenance assistants). • Supervise equipment spare parts inventory and place orders when necessary. • Oversee expenses and control the maintenance budget. • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. • Maintain maintenance records and report daily activities. • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies. Requirements: • Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in another managerial role. • Experience in planning maintenance operations. • Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, freezing, refrigeration, etc. • Professional knowledge of facility equipment and machinery. • Ability to track activities and prepare related reports. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; vocational training or a degree in facility administration or management is highly desirable. REQUIREMENTS: - Education: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field KNOWLEDGE: - Electrical - Mechanical - Hydraulic - Refrigerant gas and compressor handling FUNCTIONS: - Analyze logbooks and monitor daily work plans. - Schedule and plan maintenance tasks. - Evaluate performance and operation of refrigeration equipment. - Review and request spare parts for refrigeration equipment. - Generate reports on completed work. - Schedule major maintenance services for equipment and verify spare parts availability. - Follow up on audits. - Participate in supervision of mechanical interventions. - Participate in refrigeration equipment operation. - Train assigned personnel on refrigeration equipment. - Financial resource management.
