Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced cook to prepare and cook homemade and Mexican dishes, ensuring hygiene and portion control, with attention to detail in presentation. Key Highlights: 1. Attention to detail and excellent seasoning Job Description: Cook Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Main Responsibilities: - Prepare meals according to the established menu, including sauces, side dishes, soups, stews, and beverages. - Prepare ingredients by washing, disinfecting, chopping, and portioning, verifying their quality and freshness before use. - Comply with hygiene standards and proper food handling practices, correctly using hairnets, face masks, and gloves. - Control portions to optimize costs, avoiding cross-contamination and product waste. - Assist in conducting food and utensil inventories, checking expiration dates, and reporting shortages. - Ensure appropriate use of energy resources (gas, water, electricity) and operate kitchen equipment safely. - Participate in minor purchases, vendor deliveries, and preparation of take-out orders. Requirements: - Gender: Female. - Age range: 30 to 45 years old. - Experience: Minimum 3 verifiable years in cooking. Knowledge: - Practical experience in preparing homemade meals and Mexican foods - Basic proficiency in recipe measurements and quantities.
