Experience in * Public Works Law, Law on Public Works and Acquisitions, knowledge of legal processes from bidding through execution. * On-site experience conducting complex negotiations and participating in the execution of public works contracts. * Drafting extensive written communications to inform our client about operational requirements, blockages, and progress. * Legal argumentation (Lawyer); ideally has taken a course in Legal Argumentation, as this person will attend on-site meetings with the operations team to provide support, advise on drafting meeting minutes, and ensure key points are captured for accreditation purposes. * On-site, we require a lawyer with strong temperament and drive; currently, on the counterpart side there is an excellent but forceful Contract Manager from the partner company. Our on-site Contract Manager will visit project sites, accompany the Consortium during inspections of the cyclone fence boundaries, spend time on the road, and travel to various project segments, based in Mérida with trips to Chetumal.
