




Job Summary: We are seeking a Civil Engineer to perform construction scheduling in Microsoft Project, integrating construction processes, resources, and constraints related to public works within the engineering department. Integration of construction schedules with public contracts. We seek a Civil Engineer with experience in construction scheduling using Microsoft Project, capable of integrating execution schedules considering actual construction processes, productivity rates, work cycles, resources, and constraints inherent to public works contracts. This position is part of the engineering department, where construction schedules are developed and updated to serve as the technical, contractual, and control foundation for projects executed under the Public Works Law and Related Services. Main Responsibilities: · Develop construction execution schedules in Microsoft Project. · Develop logical construction sequences based on: * Construction procedures. * Work cycles. * Labor and equipment productivity rates. * Availability of materials, equipment, and tools. · Integrate activity relationships (FS, SS, FF, SF) and critical paths. · Load and manage resources (labor, equipment, and materials). · Monitor and update schedules according to actual construction progress. · Support the development of baseline contractual schedules and adjusted schedules. · Coordinate with cost, construction, and supervision departments. · Ensure schedules comply with public works contracts and their regulatory obligations. Requirements: · Education: Civil Engineer (licensed or intern). · Minimum experience: * 1 verifiable year as a construction scheduler using Microsoft Project. Essential Technical Knowledge: * Construction scheduling in Project. * Construction processes and procedures. * Work cycles and productivity rates. * Materials, equipment, and tools for civil works. Desirable: * Experience in public works projects. * General knowledge of the Public Works Law and its regulations. * Proficiency in baseline scheduling, progress monitoring, and control.
