




Position Summary: Oversee the store’s overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining operational processes and an optimal work environment. Oversee general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by flawlessly executing weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer consultation and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and testing/diagnostic equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are detected. * Supervise daily compliance by all employees with scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among team members and with our customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost-consciousness across all controllable consumptions within the team. * Assign and track area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restroom and cafeteria upkeep, sales floor maintenance, and parking lot care—as well as review daily cash counts from the main register, conduct cash sweeps, and process register closings for direct reports, following AutoZone’s prescribed procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, thus helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to meet scheduling requirements AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
