Responsible for ensuring the accurate calculation, tax stamping (CFDI), and timely disbursement of payroll, protecting corporate profitability through technical validation.

2. Validation of piecework payments and labor budgetary control.
3. Authority to ensure payroll accuracy.
A well-established construction company is seeking a Payroll Specialist.
**Objective:**
Ensure correct payroll calculation, tax stamping (CFDI), and timely disbursement, safeguarding corporate profitability by technically validating each labor payment against the authorized budget and actual work progress.
FUNCTIONS
**Payroll Administration**
* Weekly and/or biweekly payroll calculation.
* Issuance of payroll CFDIs in compliance with tax regulations.
* Calculation of income tax (ISR), employment subsidy, and applicable withholdings.
* Preparation of termination settlements and severance payments in accordance with applicable law.
* Bank reconciliation following disbursement.
**Piecework Control**
* Validation against the authorized budget per project.
* Cross-checking of physical progress versus payroll register (lista de raya).
* Identification and reporting of variances.
* Pre-disbursement validation.
**Labor Cost Forecasting and Control**
* Comparison of actual versus budgeted labor costs.
* Reporting of labor cost overruns.
* Monthly labor cost projection per project.
**Authority**
* Reject piecework payments containing technical inconsistencies.
* Request corrections prior to disbursement.
* Halt the payroll process in case of critical discrepancies.
* Escalate budgetary variances to the department manager.
**REQUIREMENTS**
Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Age: 22 to 45 years.
Minimum 3 years of experience in comprehensive payroll calculation and labor budgetary control.
**Key Technical Knowledge:**
* Applicable labor and tax legislation.
* Advanced calculation of income tax (ISR) and severance payments.
* Piecework control in construction-site environments.
* Labor financial analysis and bank reconciliation.
* Proficiency in payroll and CFDI stamping systems.

Salary: $14,000\.00 \- $16,191\.17 per month
