Development of organizational and teamwork skills Lyn de México, a leading Mexican company engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of underwear and pajamas, is seeking personnel for its International Logistics Department as: **Import Coordinator** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Administration, or related fields; must be graduated. * Minimum 3 years’ experience: in international procurement, importation and international logistics, international purchase orders, shipment scheduling, and supplier relations. * Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency. * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills. * Immediate availability. * Preferably residing in the area. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Continuous monitoring of international purchase orders. * Tracking of delivery dates at origin. * Review of documents (invoices, packing lists vs. purchase orders to ensure compliance with purchase terms). * Review of shipping documents (certificates of origin). * Comprehensive coordination of logistics, procurement, and importation. * Execution of verification procedures prior to supplier payments. * Review of reports. * Compilation of case files. * Recording of shipments. * Data entry to open references. * Digitization of documentation. * Follow-up with customs brokers. * Contact with freight forwarders and customs agents. * Review of non-tariff regulations. * Support to the Operations Management team. **SKILLS:** Organizational, numerical, and teamwork skills.
